J1 Studios Tribute Book Volume 2... Submit your art before the end of the year!

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: DECEMBER 31ST  2011

Send in those submissions!!!

Okay, let me explain what this "Tribute book" is. Well, artists from professionals (like animators and character designers from DC's animation team and other popular projects), to amateurs who just like the our stories have all come together using various mediums to make the most AMAZING FAN ART I've ever seen!!

I can now say that J1 Studios is global, because our first J1 TRIBUTE BOOK had artists come from The United States, Ecuador, The Philippines, Malaysia, Russia, Germany, France, Mexico and even Australia! What makes it even cooler is that their ages range from 14 to 40 (so cool)! Sadly we are still nobody (profound sadness).
These artists obviously really know the characters within J1 Studios because they put some real love into these pieces of art!!! This is the first volume link, take a look!

We will make sure that your artwork will have your FULL NAME, COUNTRY and TWO URLs of your choice to help advertise who you are.

So all of those who want their J1 Studios based art in this book, email us the high resolution file (jpeg, gif, png or tiff) to j.richardson@j1studios.com. Title the subject "J1 Studios Tribute Book".

The art has to pertain to:
-Super Bounty J1
-Lime Rind: The Rogue Samurai
-Angel Savior

For brownie points, do something based on POW (Picture On a Wall).

Go to http://www.j1studios.com/comics.html and read the comics to know what you're drawing. Picture On a Wall is located here: http://www.j1studios.com/reviews.html

J1 Studios Rumor #2...ANSWERED!

1. Going to hire someone from the J1 Studios Tribute Book Vol. 2
TRUE. Well.... it can be true if we see the right kind of art! We are looking to expand our art department so that we can branch off into more projects.

2. Working on two games at the same time.
TRUE. We will be putting their info sections up as soon as possible. Unfortunately with the lack of artists it becomes harder to juggle so many of these projects.

3. Mayhem Madness (the gaming/anime/tournament) is coming back.
4. A metal band will be adding to the soundtracks coming out.
5. A city-wide scavenger hunt in Philadelphia run by J1 Studios.
6. A J1 Studios swimsuit calendar coming out.
7. J1 AN-EX will only be once every 3 months starting in 2012.

These are just some of the rumors that are going around, and we'd like to say that they might be true. LOL You'll find out more soon enough.
